This workshop seeks to move beyond textual familiarity and devotional reception to critically examine the material, spatial, and visual cultures associated with the Ramayana tradition. By engaging with iconography, epigraphy, numismatics, literary evidences and the archaeology of important sites, the program invites participants to reflect on how epics become embodied in stone, landscape, and lived heritage practices, and how archaeological methods allow us to trace historical layers of memory, patronage, and regional reinterpretation.

 

The workshop will explore the archaeological dimensions of Ramayana heritage through iconography, epigraphy, numismatics, literary evidences and important sites. The program is bilingual (Hindi/English) and includes two expert lectures every week.

Registration is mandatory for all participants.

Registration Fee: INR 1000

 

Note:

All the Lecture sessions will be conducted Online in English and Hindi as the Medium of language.

The details regarding the Virtual Platform will be shared only to the registered participants on their mentioned Email Id and WhatsApp number through which they can join these sessions.

The sessions will take place from 7pm to 8:30pm on all the mentioned dates of the sessions, which includes 1hr of lecture session and 30 mins of interactive discussion/ Q&A.

A "Course Participationcertificate will be given to all participants who devotes at least 70% of each session's hours to the course.
