Centre for Archaeological Studies of Heritage Society invites you to register for the highly important programme “Rajgir Prehistoric Camp ”. We are excited to announce a unique Prehistoric Exploration Trip to Rajgir, designed for enthusiasts of archaeology, history, and heritage studies. This immersive 3-days and 3-Nights program will take place on 5, 6 and 7 June, 2026 and will focus on exploring the prehistoric cultural landscape of the Vindhyan region, along with hands-on learning experiences.
About the Trip:-Rajgir, with its rich historical and cultural backdrop, offers an ideal gateway to understanding early human settlements and prehistoric developments in the Vindhyan belt. This trip is curated to combine field exploration, experiential learning, and interaction with local traditions.
Key Highlights:-
Exploration of Prehistoric Sites : Guided visits to significant prehistoric locations associated with the Vindhyan region, including rock shelters, tool-making sites, and early habitation zones.
Hands-on Tool-Making Workshop: Participants will engage in practical sessions demonstrating prehistoric tool-making techniques such as flint knapping and basic stone tool replication.
Learning Sessions & Discussions: Informal talks and discussions led by experts to understand prehistoric lifeways, archaeology methods, and regional significance.
Local Living Traditions : Experience the vibrant local culture through interaction with communities, traditional practices, and regional lifestyle.
